Activities When There Is Inclement Weather

With all the rain and snow that has hit the area this winter, we have a few ideas for players to work on their skills.
1) Fast footwork with soccer or tennis ball.
2) Juggling with soccer or tennis ball.
3) For those with a basement or spare room, one v one with a parent or friend. Games to 10.
4) Games of One Bounce.
5) Watch soccer matches. There are many quality matches that air weekly on various soccer channel outlets. Players can learn a tremendous amount by watching.
There are many more activities that players can do indoors that do not require a tremendous amount of space. The most important thing is to work with the ball and develop touch. Be creative and make the most of the time away from field training.
